Roche PR head Greg Page dies suddenly

By November 4, 2012Obituaries, Public

Head of PR at Roche Pharmaceuticals, Greg Page, 41, died unexpectedly on 28 October.

Roche has sponsored the MJA awards for a number of years and Page, in particular, was a stalwart and enthusiastic support of our awards.  He presented Publication of the Year to Health Service Journal editor Alastair McLellan at our summer awards ceremony this year; Page is on the left of the photograph.

Page joined Roche in 2005 and many MJA members will know him from the work he did on Roche’s portfolio of oncology drugs.  In view of the long-standing relationship Page had, both with the MJA as an organisation and individual members, the MJA executive committee has sent a message of condolence to his colleagues at Roche, which they will share with his family.

Members of the MJA are invited to post messages of sympathy, which we will pass on to Roche.
