By June 14, 2019Public

The ‘prestigious’ Medical Journalists’ Association Awards have been covered in the Daily Mail. The page-2 lead spotlights  Good Health editor, Justine Hancock winning the 2019 Editor of the Year Award as well as wins by regular freelance contributors and the Mail on Sunday’s health editor, Barney Calman also making the shortlist.

Pulse has reported Elisabeth Mahase winning Newcomer of the Year and the Eastern Daily Press highlighted the two commendations their staffer Geraldine Scott picked up for Regional Reporter of the Year, and Mental Health Story of the Year.

Twitter has been chorusing our well-deserved winners, with more than 400 posts using the #MJAAwards hashtag. Over the next few days we will be posting video highlights of the awards ceremony plus short clips with some of the winners — so stay tuned, and do let us know if you spot some coverage that we haven’t.
