MJA Awards update

Entries the 2019 Medical Journalists’ Association Awards are now closed — good luck to everyone who has entered.

Just under 300 entries have been lodged. We are now going through the process of checking each one before they go to our judging panels who will decide short-lists for each category. These will be announced shortly before the final judging day on May 16.

Winners will be announced at our awards’ ceremony on June 12. We would like to thank Bristol-Myers Squibb, who are our principal sponsors, and our awards’ supporters, Lilly, MSD, Roche, Sanofi, Wiley, Edelman and the Healthcare Communications Association.

Media Campaign Award

As there is a different judging process for our Media Campaign Award, the deadline for entries is April 17.

This prestigious award, which is supported by the Healthcare Communications Association, is designed to recognise the PR agencies and communications teams who really understand what journalists need from medial materials and press releases.
